In one room I have my computer etc, stuff I consider valuable.. I want to be able to put some basic cheap peel on the windows so that I can see out yet no one can see in (or at least not clearly) and hopefully lets a good amount of sunlight through as well, the window of this room faces out to quite a few other houses so if I can avoid advertising that this would be a good place to rob all the better. Anywhere sell this? or can suggest something else pratical?

This room has no air con unit. In bangkok in one of the guesthouses I seen a portable freestand plug in air con unit (say 1m height by 20cmx20cm), do they sell them here? what price?

Is there an office depot or staples or something on the island, for stuff like whiteboards, monitor stands, etc.. I've had a look at Big C & Tesco but not impressed.

I'm renting a basic apartment at the moment, not sure how long will keep this one, its fine for now, but if money starts growing on trees then I'll probably upgrade to something better, if portable I can just bring it with me. What is the cheapest wallmounted one?

well portable air con is more a scam than something else, aircon produces cold air on a side and needs to evacuate the heat on the other side thus the separate boxes when it comes to fixed installation.

a friend of mine bought it at tesco, totally useless as this was a one piece device, he got a full refund.

For cheap peel on the window, look at home pro.They have this prduct that sticks to your window,not glued.Looks like wall paper for windows,different patterns & density.
