March 2, 200521 yr Hi all, Could anybody inform me whether is there any direct bus connection between pier on the mainland on opposite island Ko Chang (or Trat city) to Rayong vicinity to be able to get quickly to Koh Samet when the weather would be really bad on Koh Chang or whether I would have to change buses in Chantaburi(or in another city.) how much frequently go these buses per a day, how much time it costs and what is the price of this journey. Thank you very much for your help.

March 2, 200521 yr Buses run pretty regular from Trat to Bangkok. Just ask at the bus station if they stop of in Rayong (or indeed direct to Ban Phe ) The bus that drops you of in Rayong is about 1/2 hour from the port of Ban Phe. A Songthew will cost you 20 baht. The bus from Trat to Rayong is 100baht. These go through Chanthaburi, with a 15 minute stopover at the main bus station (fag break ) You continue onwards to Rayong (Or Ban Phe)
