All 4 electric windows work when they feel like it..... eg: front drivers will not open but passenger one will... likewise with the rear, sometimes they will part open or will not close or par close... yesterday the rear drivers side one would not close, had to leave it open all night, yet this morning closed just fine ?? [with car full of mosquitoes] tried closing with the rear switch also nothing... but the front offside closed but very slowly.. Have checked the fuses appear OK Any ideas please as to where to look ? I guess, replace all 4 switches, as they usually have oxidations inside some can open and clean, but i think the audi switches not. But before you replace them, check the main electric spupprt to each switch, and make sure power comes until to the switch input. Also check grounding caples. Happened to our pick up last month but only the drivers window, turned out to be a build up of road dust on the connections. By the way it took the guy one and a half hours to repair, took the whole assembly out and also fixed the wipers (they weren't working either for the grand sum of 180 baht, Issan prices can't beat them. Tried again today, nearside rear worked fine on both drivers door and rear door switches, off side rear went down 1/2 way on driver door switch but would not go up or down on that door switch [did go all the way down yesterday but would not go all the way up] drivers window did not work at all, front nearside worked fine today but not yesterday. forgot about checking the earth so will check that Edited August 9, 2009 by ignis Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
