You should probably try explaining that to the hundreds of thousands of Ladyboys in Thailand, especially the majority of them who do NOT work with foreigners in the night scene. My goodness, just when I thought I had heard it all. Genetics doesnt even get a mention with you. Anyway, there have been some excellent topics here on Thai visa about this very subject, as well as some quoted 'Factual' research. I won't go into any of it because last time I did one bright poster here accused me of having 'Gender Issues', which is a fairly funny thing to say to a full red blooded Aussie such as myself . India has a well known 3rd gender, the Hijras, the Lakota Sioux and Blackfoot native Americans, Polynesia, etc etc. all had third genders. Excellent post. I see khatoey that I do not think are at all part of the commercial sex scene in Thailand. All men have a Y chromosome, thus all men have at least some feminine attributes.....there is no black or white, just the whole spectrum of shades of grey, from very light feminine men to dark grey masculinity.....Show me the man that is fully "black" with masculinity and I'll show you a man in denial.
