August 8, 200916 yr My third renewal for my investment visa is coming up and I am wondering if it is possible to do without legal assistance? In the past I have let my lawyer handle everything for me, but was wondering if it was possible to do myself. Since they do not issue these visas anymore I really cannot afford any mistakes. Thanks in advance.
August 9, 200916 yr As long as the paperwork is in order there is no need for a lawyer. You can apply as early as 30 day before your extension of stay ends, they will still extend from the date your current extension ends, so you won't lose any days. Always extend early, so in case you need some documents you have time to arrange for them or still hire a lawyer.
August 9, 200916 yr Author Thank you. The situation is exactly the same as when I first applied and when it was renewed the previous times. I will go down there 30 days before and begin the process.
August 9, 200916 yr As Mario said, go early then if there is any problems you have time to sort it out.
