Full scan with Kaspersky antivirus. Report - very dangerous - go to description viruslist.com - adobe flash player multiple vulnerabilities - follow solution - updating flash player and adobe air.

Still same, very dangerous warning.

C:\windows\System32\Makromed\flash\FIDbg10b.ocx very dangerous

Viruslist com sekunia ID SA35948

Repeat updating before - same result.

Revo uninstaller, I uninstall flash player and adobe air. No adobe left now. Problem solved now for shure.

Reboot.

Full scan. Still same warning!

What I do now? I am not a computer wiz.

Dear PS3, I have the same Adobe, but no probs. Norton 360 seems to be happy with it.

Was your Adobe a download? Was your Kaspersky a download? Try to check them if you have a backup CD. Let us know what happens

That isn't a legit Macromedia file. Note the spelling.

C:\windows\System32\Makromed\

should be:

C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\

When you updated/deleted the flash it updated/deleted the legit file, not the virus.

Also Adobe sometimes leaves behind old dll files when updated - I have had to manually delete several that Secunia PSI has found in advanced mode (as no one click fix they do not appear in simple mode).

@gosompoi: in safe mode found the file. Its from the date the laptop was manufactured 1,5 year before, still safe to remove it? Spybot no immediate threats.

@backsoon: downloaded adobe from get.adobe. Kaspersky from CD.

@cdnvic: my mistake sorry, it's written with a C. Was unable to copy/paste from kaspersky report. So virus is in the 1,5 year old file? Safe to remove it?

@lopburi3: i always delete in moderate mode, that usually include many leftover files.

Problem solved after follow advice from gosompoi.

No problem reported after running antivirus scan now.

Thank you.

If you are using the CD version of Kaspersky you should update it to 9.0.0.463 as the old version is rated as a security threat. This is the 2010 edition that was just updated in the last few days.

The vulnerabilities that detected by Kaspersky is not a list of virus.

Vulnerability is a weakness in a program that can be exploited by people to harm/damage your computer.

To fix this, it is recommended that you install the latest version of the program that is listed in the detected list.

Once you have done that, launch a full scan again and the list will go shorter.

Please read post 7: problem solved 11 august.

Please read my OP: updating - repeat updating, still same problem and Warning.

I did install latest version but still got warning many times. Got rid of it in safe mode + delete.

But as said in post 7, dated 2 weeks ago: problem solved.

Thank you.

I actually was aware of post 7 but wanted those using 2009 or CD 2010 to be aware they could and should upgrade to current version without payment.

This is the correct advice.

Kapersky will also limit access to such vulnerable programmes.

There is no need to delete anything. Just follow above advice and keep updates flowing!

@thetefldon

- I did install the latest version of the program that is listed in the detected list.

- I did full scan again.

- the list did not get shorter - still same very dangerous warning.

- I uninstall.

- full scan - still same very dangerous warning.

Then I follow advice from gosompoi and delete in safe mode.

= no more warnings from Kaspersky.

"The fix" you two recommended, did not work in this case. But uninstall did.

I dont like get red alarm/very dangerous warning, when I run full scan daily.

As said twice before, problem solved 11 august.

This is a old topic :)

@Lopburi3: my comment was to jackiechan only.

Have a good day all. :D

Hi there..

What program that detected by Kaspersky? Example: Quicktime can't be clean because is consider as vulnerability and you need to wait for the update from the quicktime.. You may refer to this link for more information; //forum.antivirus365.net/index.php?showtopic=1312 (Sorry i unable to post link here and you need to add http: at in front to view the link)

Uninstall the program is 100% solve but if i uninstall the program then what program i need to watch movie?????????

Most movies are not encoded in Quick Time. Panasonic I believe uses that system but most movies are DVD or AVI containers and can easily be played by VLC or GOM or other player if using a Windows computer.
