Entering Thailand Without A Visa?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, have posted here before but have now had a change of plans and wondered if someone could check my plans and see if they are going to be acceptable in terms of visas, amount of entries and time slots!?

stage 1: so we arrive in bangkok on the 1st of november. we have return flights booked from bangkok to vietnam on the 22nd november, so we are given a 30 day visa there and then?

stage 2: we head to laos pretty much straight away, so we are there on around the 3rd november.

stage 3: we stay in laos for a week (tubing!!) until the 10th november.

stage 4: we arrive back in thailand on the 10th november... as we have arrived by foot, we are given a 15 day visa instead of a 30 day one which we would get if we arrived by air.

stage 5: on the 22nd of november we fly from bangkok to vietnam where we stay for 7 days until the 29th november

stage 6: we arrive back in bangkok and we are given a 30 day visa (because we have arrived by air, and we have proof of onward travel (melbourne 17th dec) within that 30 days.

stage 7: full moon party at start of december, chill out on islands before flying to melbourne.

This is copied from a friend so apologies if the wording is a bit off!

Basically what id like to know is, do i have to organise any sort if visa before i leave?

Thanks in advance people.

If I recall your previous post you are from the UK, right? Your plan looks fine to me based on current immigration rules. Just a small point for correctness, you will get a 30 day/15 day (as appropriate) visa exempt 'permission to stay' stamp put in your passport at immigration on your arrivals in Thailand and not a visa. Have a good trip and welcome to LOS.
