Waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy better than living in my country. It's why I am living in the LOS. Sure there are problems here, but I wouldn't move back to the states for anything. Visiting home is fine, but this is where I am happiest.

I've seen this abbreviation many times already on the forum in my short time here, and always wondered what it stood for.

Personally, I'd find LoS a bit less confusing, as it's a pretty standard way of denoting abbreviations for most other purposes (at least in the UK), but I guess it's just one of those thaivisa forum posting memes/traditions I'll just have to get used to over time. :D

Thanks for the information though. :)

It's a common acronym all over the net. German Thai forums use that too, for instance

taste? hard to find in pattaya though . however available on the buddha mountain near the rotary club sculpture. unusual opening hours though, the canteen , i mean, beer lao seems to be a cross between carlsberg and heineken, though much cheaper of course. is it a tiger beer product? :D not too bad for a lao friend. cheers ! :D o yes, thailand, very happy about. wish there are less scams though. :)

Well, am hoping to move to LOS, with my Thai tilak soon :) Possibly when the markets pick up again and stabilize (unlike the current on-going speculative trading) in 2 years, at the moment we are together where we live and work outside Thailand so make it a point to visit when we can. Interesting topic though like someone else mentioned, would be nice to have it as a sticky :D
