Late For Visa Extension

Featured Replies

Hey guys

I've just found out i've miss read my visa and was supposed to go extend it today, but will have to go tomorrow.

I hold a doubble entry tourist visa and i had to be out today or extend it today.

My question is will i have to pay a fine at the immigration or is my visa just not valid anymore, and i have to go out pay overstay and get a new visa?

Hope you can help

It depends on the mood of the officer. You are on overstay and will have to pay 500 baht per day for that.

What do you mean with you had to be out today? Is your visa expired or your permission to stay in Thailand?

Well my first entry expired today so need a 30 days extension before going on a border run to get the last 60 days.

And thx for the quick reply

They will pobably extend your permission to stay with 30 days, after they fine you 500 baht.

Rememeber you have to use the second entry before the visa itself expires. It says something like utilise before....... The second entry must be made before that date.
