Hi,

I just recently received a single entry Non Immigrant O visa for three months. I am 39 years old and from the US, living in Chiang Mai with my brother. I am trying to find out if I can extend the 3 month Non Imm O to a year Non Imm O by going to Maylaysia, Singapore, etc. before the 3 months expires. Also I am considering studying Thai and know I can get the Non Imm ED for a year doing that, but I am concerned about giving up the Non Imm O since I am under 50. I would prefer to get the Non Imm O for 1 year if that is available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The nearest Consulate you would get a Non Imm O Multi entry valid for a year would be Perth Australia.

You will not obtain in the region. Perth is nearest consulate.
