Motorbike Taxi Driver Seriously Injured Following Drive By Shooting In North Pattaya.

Featured Replies

Pattaya, August 18 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : On Monday a motorbike taxi driver was rushed to Hospital following a shooting incident at the North End of Pattaya Third Road in front of a 7-Eleven Convenience Store. Khun Mahamadali aged 28 sustained a single gun shot wound to his chest and doctors determined the bullet had lodged in his right lung. He was quickly transferred to Chonburi Hospital for more specialized treatment. Before he left he explained to Police that he was waiting outside the store for his next customer. A group of youths were also outside the store and appeared apprehensive. Moments later a Bronze 4-door pick-up with a license plate registered in Rayong Province, pulled up in front of the store and the passenger in the vehicle produced a gun and opened fire a total of 5 times in the direction of the group while the motorbike taxi driver stood behind them. Everyone scattered and the only person to be injured was the taxi driver who appeared to be an innocent victim of the shooting. We understand he is now in ICU at Chonburi Hospital following an operation to remove the bullet from his lung. Police are investigating.
