I P Adress

Featured Replies

A recent thread about I.P. Adress sugests you can have an I.P. UK Address I would have thought the address comes from your internet provider so how would you get a UK I.P. Address in Thailand any one have the answer

You will always get a Thai IP address from your Thai ISP.

However it is possible to create an encrypted tunnel (VPN) over the internet to any location.

Many multinational companies do this all the time to connect their local network with the network at head office.

If the head office is in the UK, and you would access a website while being connected to your head office (through the VPN), then for that website it would appear that you are in the UK, as you are effectively using the ISP of your head office to access the WWW.

I won't go any further into this as in general the use of above mentioned systems is illegal in Thailand. (you are basically not allowed to hide your real Thai IP address, as specified the the Thai cyber crime law)
