August 20, 200916 yr Hello, I have got a question regarding the Visa on arrival. I first arrived in Thailand in February this year with a triple entry tourist visa which i got from the embassy in Germany. After 6 month when the visa was finished, i got an extension for 30 days. The 30 days run out in 10 days. My questions is now if i can just leave the country and go over the boarder to Cambodia, and re enter Thailand with a visa on arrival for 15 days. I don't really know if that is possible. So in case it is not possible(because i don't think it is), could i get another tourist Visa at an embassy in Cambodia or different country, or would i have to wait a certain time to be able to get another visa? i hope somebody can give some advice, Thanks
August 20, 200916 yr It is not a visa on arrival, but a visa exempt entry. Yes, you can do that without any problem. Alternatively you can go to Vientianne and get a double entry tourist visa there, they are free for the moment. There is no need to stay out of Thailand for a certain time.
August 20, 200916 yr Your Triple Entry should have given you 9 months with extensions. As Mario said you can hop over the border for a 15 day stay but better to get the Double Entry Tourist Visa from Vientienne. This would give you almost 6 months with extensions and a border run in the middle.
August 20, 200916 yr Author I just got a 30 day extension on my tripple entry, i got it in Jomtien immigration. Do you know if its still possible to get more extension on my Visa? thanks
August 20, 200916 yr No, you cannot get an extension on an extension. It looks like immmigration made a mistake in your case by giving you one.
