ayakiawe
Hi friends, So I am looking for info on the "other place" to go (not Penang, Malaysia as they see me too much there and ask a lot of questions) in Malaysia near the Thai border for visas? Do they offer a full visa service there? Is it a consulate or embassy? What's the name of this city? Do they issue double entry tourist visas there?? What about triple entry tourist visas? What about cheap clean accommodations in the town there? Is there a train that goes there from Hat Yai? Thanks, for the help! dr_Pat_Pong
Why not try Kota Bharu. Royal Thai-Consulate-General 4426 Jalan Penkalan Chepa 15400 Kota Bharu Kelantan [email protected]
jayrockwell
Hi, just got a new 1 year multiple Non Imm B from Penang, I was careful to present the proper paperwork. Anybody with a legitamate requirement for a visa will have no problem there in my opinion. However if you are trying to 'wangle' a visa based on a friendly chat a smile or some under table money then things are changing. If you can't get it in Penang then you probably can't get it anywhere in Malaysia. If you want everything to be the way it used to be in Thailand, then go to live in Laos. jayrockwell
Sorry Dr, I was just being facetious, I mean't more of the old 'way it used to be' feel, rather than actual law. J
dr_Pat_Pong
No worries J ........ I think thefarang rule benders in Thailand would be in for a bit of a shock if they shifted to surrounding countries
