Free Range Eggs In Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Recently arrived in Bangkok and was looking to get some eggs for home cooking. Went to a big Tesco near Chong Nonsi but couldn't see any that said free range on although they were all in Thai.

Do they have free range eggs out here? Are all eggs battery caged by default?

What are those pink eggs?

Thanks

I seem to recall seeing them in Villa, Sukhumvit Soi 31/1 .

The pink eggs are Khai Yeow Ma - known to most Westerners as "1,000 year old eggs".

You will also see white eggs with a chalky shell - these are Salted eggs.
