speedybuffalo
hi do any of you guys know where i can get a new fuel pump for a bmw r1100s near pattayanew or s/h thanks Didn't find any BMW parts near Pattaya. A new one can be ordered from Barcelona by phone or internet provided you have a part or bike number (usually 3 weeks delivery time). There are reliable second hand parts available - but again in BKK.

LivinLOS
Then the import duty.. Then issues on warranty or iof (god forbid) they send the wrong part.. Yes buying locally is much more expensive.. But mail order is not always simple either.
justcruisin
thank for that bmw bangkok is a rip off 13000 for the pump 1600 for a filter mobins uk is 109pounds 20 pounds shipped thanks guys Just an idea but you maybe able to fit a car unit, the mazda 12v fuel pump is about 350 Bht and is the same as fitted to the Honda Africa Twin 750. The 3/8 inlet/outlets can be changed for different size fuel line quite easily. Even suitable to carry as a spare when you are out on the road. speedybuffalo
hi do any of you guys know where i can get a new fuel pump for a bmw r1100s near pattayanew or s/h thanks Unfortunately I could not find a second hand fuel pump for your model. Usually a car fuel pump is fitted here around, however should have sufficient capacities. Some of the BMW parts are the same in their cars as well as in their bikes, different numbers and different price of course ... May be this web page helps you to find substitutes. http://www.ibmwr.org/otech/partsubs.shtml good luck
