ricklev
A Thai friend has asked/invited me to go to Chiang Rai and do some work with Ajarn Achiramethi. They said he has an ashram and is working on organic and sustainable farming as well Buddhist teaching. Anybody know of him? My friend said he is fairly well known in Thailand. ricklev
The full name might be close to "Mahavutichai Vachiramethi".
sabaijai
I have met with Phra Wachiramethi, who writes under the name Wor Wachiramethi. He's a very well-rounded, well-educated monk in the mould of P A Payuttho or Aj Buddhadasa, very impressive although still relatively young. I posted an article of his here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/State-Buddhi...hl=wachiramethi A profile also appeared in the Bangkok Post, The Magazine section, a few weeks ago. I'll try and find the full text of that article and post it in the next few days. I would say he's well worth meeting.
