Laser Tooth Whitening

It is my understanding (from discussions with several dentists) that tooth whitening does not work on porcelain or other plastic colour matched fillings/inlays.

These would have to be replaced and colour rematched to your new tooth colour.

Suggest you discuss this point with your dental professional, before starting any treatment.

The laser whitening is the same as the old method of using a peroxide compound but the laser will accellerate the effect of the bleaching compound. The effect is the same but it takes only an hour when using the laser and several weeks if only using the peroxide compound.

It will not effect any fillings or dental work so if you have any of these in the front of your mouth the dentist will match the laser whitening to be the same as your dental work, unless you select to have them replaced as well.

Bangkok Dental Hospital sent me an email just the other day that they perform this kind of procedure for B10k now. Their usual price is B20k. This is one of the most reputable places for dental care but it is in Bangkok.
