I'm looking to book three return tickets from BKK to SFO and it seems SaveFlights.com is way cheaper than any place else. In fact, for Eva airlines, they are at least 25% cheaper than even booking directly with EVA. When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Does anyone know what the catch is? How are they able to sell tickets at such a discounted rate? My wife is hesitant to use them because they seem too good.

Anyone have any experience with them? When it comes time to book the tickets, I kind of expect them to say, "The 22,000 THB tickets are no longer available, the current price is 32,000."

Right now I am in the process of booking with them a flight to LAX price quoted is 18,000 baht. Said if i pay cash no 3% more for ticket. Anyone having experience with this company would be appreciated.

Daveh,

If you go to Eva Air's website, click on PROMOTIONS and then click on HIP PROMOTIONS TO US, you will find approximately the same fares as offered by saveflights.com

as I stated in plenty of other similar topics, it is a not-eradicable missbelief that the fares on airline-websites are always the cheapest (except the budget-carriers).

if it would be like that, most travel agents would have been out of business already.....

Yeah, the thing about websites like saveflights.com is that you cannot check whether a fare is actually available on the date you wish to travel. So the "The 22,000 THB tickets are no longer available, the current price is 32,000" answer is probably quite common.

However, we are living in the 21st century and there are websites where you can instantly check if a fare is available. I can recommend www.moxtravel.com for flights from Bangkok. Great fares, convenient payment, efficient service. I used to book with saveflights, now i am with Mox.

Has anyone used saveflights.com by transferring money to their bank account and then they issue an e-ticket by email? I am a little unsure of this method. When I asked if I can go to their office in Bangkok to pay, so I dont transfer money and get no ticket , I was told not possible :)

This week I planned my trip to Oregon via saveflights and received very good serivce with the dates and times requested. I paid by bank transfer as you save 3% ,,,They will give you the their bank information then its just a matter of going to any local bank and doing the transfer, a normal 100-150bt transfer fee is charged by the bank.

I've used a couple of agents and transferred the money to their account. One way to check a reservation is to use https://www.checkmytrip.com with the code they held your ticket under. I just do it online so it is instant if you have the same bank (I have lots of banks). They can be online and confirm as well.

I have used Saveflights on numerous occasions and can highly recommend Jane's services.

Whether bank transfers from abroad, credit card, cash payments to her courier in person in Bangkok - always without ever having a single problem.
