90 Day Reporting

Featured Replies

sorry, I know this is on here but searching I cant find it. I have done 90 day many times but I just drew a blank on what i need for tomorrow.

the TM7 filled out

a photo

copy of passport front page

copy of visa stamp

copy of utility bill with name and address

is this correct?

thanks

What are you applying for?

Just looked at the title.

A TM7 form is for extensions.

You need a TM47. No photo. Passport. Last 90 day report receipt. One or two offices like some proof of address.

Thanks, that's why I was confused. had them both in my computer filled out and clicked the wrong one without realizing it. A senior moment :) I am afraid

The Title of the post is: "90 Day Reporting"

Doesn't that mean all you need is your valid passport & do a border crossing before the 90 day limit?

Perhaps he meant "12 month extension" in which case the TM7 etc is required?

If you are on an extension of stay you make reports to immigration every 90 days. You do not have to leave the country.

You are confusing a 90 day visa entry with an extension of stay.

Seems like you're having a 'senior moment' as well. :D

AFAIK; the term "90 day reporting" is used both on this forum and at Immigrations when you are on an extension of stay and have NOT left the country in the last 90 days. As required by Immigrations you must report you're still here.

It requires the T.M.47 form, is FREE, and neither a photo nor any copies of your passport are given to Immigrations.

It has nothing to do with doing a border run to receive another 90 day stamp, nor anything to do with a yearly extension of stay.

Good try though.. :)

Yes I find I do qualify for senior moments more and more these days. :D

Thank you for making that clear anyway.

So while we are on "terminology" what is the correct term for doing the 90 day border crossing?

Just "to be sure to be sure" :)

It's not a report. So I guess you could just call it leaving to obtain a new entry. But most of the time it is just called making a border run.
nor any copies of your passport are given to Immigrations.

That depends on the immigration office. Some do require it.

Patong always seem to want a copy of the passport and original incoming immigration form (don't know what you call it).

TM6 departure card. I didn't list it because he only asked for passport pages.
