Border Run Gap Cheong

Featured Replies

I have to do a border run soon and hope to use Gap Cheong, near Surin. Has any member entered Cambodia for the quick in-and-out there? Advice based on any fairly recent experiences would be appreciated.

Tks,

Euca.

NO PROBLEM THE LAST 5 YEARS :)

The border is at Chong Chom. You pass through Kap Cheong on the way there.

I did a search for you on the Isaan forum and found no recent reports.

But all reports I found were that it is not a problem to do there. Just the normal "touts" and etc.

One post says the Cambodia visa will cost 1300 baht.

You might try asking your questions in a new topic on the Isaan forum.

Ubonjoe. Tks for the useful info. It went without a hitch, the people were pleasant to deal with, buying some tools at bargain prices paid for the border run - recommended. Sorry for late reply - computer problems lately.
