I'm aware of the approximate locations of industrial estates, and of the presence of quite a few well-known names in Thailand, but I'm curious about what the main industry sectors that foreign multinationals are engaged in are.

Which countries dominate? What sectors dominate? Where are they usually based (i.e. I think there are one or two industrial estates that are effectively Japanese only or mostly, such as at Kabinbury).

With all the current global turmoil, I wonder what the effects are in the domain of multinationals in Thailand.

...and the more overtly "fishing" question is, does anyone have a Thai wife who managed to get an expat wage paying job in one? :):D:D
