Aeon Atms Apear To Have 80b Instead Of 150b Fee

Today I used an Aeon ATM and it didn't mention a fee like the Thai banks do but when I checked my account online there was a $2.37 fee which is 80 Baht at today's exchange rate. Better than the 150 Baht fee by Thai banks if you have easy access to one of their ATMS.

i think the $2.37 fee was charged by your own bank not by AEON

my own bank in UK, HSBC normally charge £5-00 for a maximum withdrawal of £300

i just got the results from my HSBC online banking after using HSBC Visa badged debit card at AEON atm in Tesco Pattaya Nua and at the one outside Homeworks South Pattaya

there was no 150 charge advise at the time of withdrawal and the on line banking report confirms that no charge was applied

here are the results exchange rate wise and as yet no ATM withdrawal fee from HSBC but i expect that will follow

i will be delighted if thats free too!

That's good news but what is their exchange rate?

Have not been able to get that info on their website.

Been using Ayudhaya ATMs for over a year, well I have an account with them and they added 150 B surcharge sometime 6 months ago,

I have also seen posts that Kasikorn was slow to implement it at the time, not sure if they charge it now or not.

They have slightly better exchange rates than that of Ayudhaya.
