Web Sites Open When I Disconnect

Featured Replies

Help wanted please

I have GPRS/EDGE through a Nokia telephone. Once connected the bytes roll in thick and fast, but web sites fail to open. It is only when I disconnect (through sheer frustration) that the web sites open.

Any ideas how to correct this please

My guess would be that when you disconnect, the browser shows you what it had loaded before it got stopped. Try pressing the "Stop" button/icon instead of disconnecting and see if it does the same?

If the same happens when you press stop, it might simply be a question of the connection being really really slow.
