Non Imm "m" (media Visa)

Featured Replies

I am a 28 yro American currently living in Bangkok. I do some work for a production company but do not have a work visa. A friend told me today about a 'Media Visa' that he knows someone has. Since I do work (we'll call it freelance) for a real "legit" American production company that has a Thai investor and an office in the U.S. how can I go about to get a Media Visa. Let's say I do video editing for the company.

I hear the requirements are you need to submit proof that you do freelance for a media company (DVD of work, etc.), fill out some forms, and the owner has to submit whatever forms to show that it is a real Foreign company in Thailand with a Western country based office.

Does anyone know anything about this? I tried the SEARCH bar at the top left and top right but none of my searches resulted with anything more than a white blank page for some unknown reason.

Here is the only information I could find on here about this: http://www.thaivisa.com/282.0.html

Any experience or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Zen.

There is some information here from the Royal Thai Consulate in Hull abount Non-M visa. Not sure if this is what you really need.
