Sometime ago, I read a post that said an Immigration Office was going to open in Buriram, possibly in August. Anyone have any new info regarding this? I live in Nong Ki and it would be very handy for me.

If you look on the Issan forum you see that they're closing the office at Kap Cheong and moving to Korat. In a way by-passing Buriram. It's claimed that only 150 farang live in the Buriram Province perminently, so hence the reason to have no office in Buriram Province.

thanks for the reply. I have already read that post about the Kap Choeng/Korat change.

There are currently two offices that should open within the next one or two weeks that are being discussed. Udon and Khon Kaen. Both locations are set but no desks or personal in place yet from todays reports.
