Sound Designer

Featured Replies

Hi,

My name is Dan Thomas and I am 21 years old, I have been living in Bkk for 3 years now and finishing up my BA (Hons) in Recording Arts. Currently on a O visa for the time being and looking to stay here for a very long time with no intentions of moving back to my home country (UK). I speak quite a bit of Thai, read and write a bit and also can relocate if needed.

Having worked for many directors in Bangkok during my studying days, I am now looking for production house or even Directors / producers looking for a talented, skilled and enthusiastic sound designer / Engineer. I have just finished the sound for a short movie (Once upon a Time in Bangkok) about the political situation in Thailand and was head sound engineer in charge of all aspects of sound including editing, sound track, sound design and composition. Also worked with the BWG (British Women's Group) as a on site recordists & post production engineer for their coverage DVD but all my work experience is in my CV.

The roll's I can fulfill are as follows:

Sound editor

Special Effects

On Site location sound Engineer

Sound track Engineer

Post production Engineer

Sound designer / Composer

Mixing & Mastering

Also in my spare time I teach electronic Music to people but that is more of a hobby than a job as I have been doing that for 8 or 9 years now. I have posted My CV below for you concern and I do look forward to hearing from any one requiring my assistance in the future.

Thank you,

Dan Thomas
