90days Reporting Procedure

Featured Replies

I have an OA retirement visa-1 year multiple entry

.

Normally I should have reported to Suan Plu before August 7.

I missed the date...

I am leaving for a trip to China early October-1 week and back.

Should I go to Immigration now to "nomalize" my situation and pay some kind of penalty I imagine or just skip

it and see what happens?

Sorry if the question has already been asked.

Thank you.

The fine for late reporting is 2,000 baht and you will have to go in person.

You could wait and see if they spot it or not when you do your next report. Best is always to do everything by the book.

I don't think they check when you leave at the airport.

Last time out I left my notification slip at home and nobody blinked an eye.

Time restarted on my return.

You should go to immigration ASAP to make your belated report.

You will also need a re-entry permit for your return from the trip you are making to China.

If you do not, your visa extension will be cancelled.

If his visa will still be valid on return he does not need or want a re-entry permit. He said nothing about being on an extension of stay.
