Non B 1 Year Visa

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a job offer and the compny will give me the correct paperwork to apply for a 1 year Non B multiple entry visa.

That is what my employer want me to get.

I was going to go to Khota Baru to apply there.

I have been told by a poster on TV that Kota Baru will definitely not issue this for me so want to know whch embassy will issue this for me.

I've also heard that Penang won't issue a 1 year Non B either...

Any ideas or help much appreciated.

Cheers

Kualalumphur Malaysia is the best bet. (It would be if I could spell it)

You will not obtain on any job offer AFAIK. You need a work permit valid for a long period to obtain a multi entry. Without that a single entry with work permit application receipt is probably the best you can hope for.

Penang would issue multi entry Non-B if company's share capital in minimum 8m baht. Otherwise go to KL. Not sure why your company is saying obtain multi-entry Non-B. A lot of people obtain a single entry Non-B and then extend their stay in Thailand on the basis of employment. That would require you needing 50k salary a month as westerner (but depends upon nationality) and company providing 2 years accounts and tax receipts. You would not have to do 90 day border runs but instead report your address to immigration every 90 days. Maybe you/your company can't meet that criteria, but I would check it out. As Lopburi says, you will need WP to obtain multi-entry Non-B visa in the region.

kota baru is friendly you'll get one year non-b without a problem if you already have a work permit.

if you don't have one, no emabassy around thailand will give you a year visa.

Not even a single non-B without a Work Permit or WP3 receipt.
