Temporary Extension After One Year Visa Expires?

Featured Replies

My one year visa expires soon and I am considering moving to another country instead of applying for an extension and adding more funds to my Thai bank account, which I will need to do.

If I decide to move but need some extra time to get my affairs in order, what will be my options when the one year expires? Will I have to leave country and come back or can I get say an extra month or two by changing to another type of visa?

Thanks.

You asked this same question yesterday. See reply in thread below:

Or are you saying that you do not have an O-A visa but some other visa and are considering an extension of stay based on that? You post is not particularly clear.
