A silly question maybe???!

If a Thai person with a UK visa travel with Gulf Air an dstops in Bahrain do they need a visa or are they in transit?

Cheers

If they remain airside they are in transit, only if they clear immigration are they landside, in which case they need a visa. Also, some countries require transit visa's but not sure which ones.

Usually it's a short stop in transit. The airport is small and easy to find your way around.

If A Thai wishes to spend a few days exploring Bahrain they receive a 15 day free tourist stamp on arrival.
