Hi guys n' gals, I'm approaching 30 fast spent my twenties, until now dividing my time between the uk and los picking up employment as and when. Now I'm in the position where I need to start thinking of training for a career, I have the funds to pay for training and can take a year or two out to train. University isn't really an option so I'm looking to train for a specialist job in a year or two. I can put my hand, mind to most things. Any of you guys can give me some advice? Thinking about IT, mcse certification.

have you worked in IT before?

i'd seriously consider another industry, there more IT people around with certs then will ever been needed. and unless you have some soild expericence in your chosen IT field, the certs will mean nothing.
