Reunion Cyprus, How To Go?

In mid December want to go for a family reunion to Cyprus.

1. my searches on travel sites may be naive, often I find prices much higher than quotes by travel agents.

2. which airline going to Turkey or Greece offer the best seats, food unimportant.

3. is it possible to get better deals if 2 persons fry business ?

If i was doing this trip i would look at going via Dubai. Search net and visit and compare with travel agencies. Then same for the leg to Cyprus.

However, perhaps the flights via Eastern European countries, Russia etc may be cheaper priced if cost is a big factor.

Obviously Turkish airlines flies from Bangkok, but issues about food and other things might deter you.

I would take Emirates (have taken it to Cyprus a few times). Leave here early 1 AM or so, arrive Dubai around 5:35 am. Transfer to Larnaca flight at 830 - arrive in Cyprus before noon.

If you are looking in to cheap Biz Class Tickets, I would recommend either Eqypt Air (excellent service ex BKK to CAI) or Royal Jordanian via Amman. Not to bad either. Otherwise, a previous posters mentioned already, I would go via the Middle East with either Emirates or Etihad. Btw, all the 4 I mention here have online booking and ticketing available on their websites. Good luck and enjoy your trip
