October 1, 200916 yr What are the consequences of overstaying the 30 day Tourist Visa by 5 or 6 days? I'm a 48 year old British national. Thanks for any advice!
October 1, 200916 yr I assume you mean 30 day visa exempt entry obtained at the airport (it is not a visa), rather than a tourist visa would give you 60 day permission to stay. Overstay fine is 500 baht a day, max 20k baht. Passport will be marked but that will not prevent you from returning to the country or obtaining a visa at a future date. October 2, 200916 yr Question for thaifoon. If he is on a 30 day visa exemption, can orientfan obtain a further seven days? I know it was an option available in the past but with recent changes, I don't know if it is possible now.
