Wanted Good Internet And Cable/satalite Tv Provider

Featured Replies

I'm in the Pattaya near the Mapracham Lake.

Can anyone help in directing me to an Internet Service Provider and Cable/Satelite provider. Perhaps one service provided for both. I want good quality broadband and to be able to watch the main HBO, Star sports, sports channels Sports 2-6 etc. Thanks.

Only one (legal) way to get the channels you require, and that is TrueVisions. Rather expensive, tad over 2000 Baht/month for the Platinum package.

We also have cableTV around the lake, currently TMN is your best bet, 300 Baht/month. No HBO and starsports, but they have Supersport 1,2 and 3, plus a few other sports channels.

Also has a South African Movie channel (with Western movies, hardly watch TV so not sure of the selection). AS well as all the international channels and news...

Internet depends, BTV has relatively good internet (BTV is also a cableTV company, but with not so good a selection as TMN), you can also get ADSL if you happen to have a TT&T phone line (around the lake that means a 038 7xx xxx phone number).

Forget about internet through satellite, expensive and slow/unreliable...
