Travel To Kl For Visa

Featured Replies

I know there was a topic on this subject recently, but I canne seem to find it.

I need to travel down to KL to get a new non-o. Was thinking of flying however the first flight with air asia from bangkok lands at 10.30am - The embassy closes at 11.30am for applications. Would be a bit tight.

Is there a way of arriving in the city for early morning? Train?

Has anyone managed to get the visa done in two days?

Thanks.

greek....

as a matter of fact, we just returned from kl two hours ago.... safely and successfully.... lol

the best answer i could offer you is, to drive to kl like we did....

you could start from hatyai and return to hatyai in about 20 hrs driving time..... you need an alternate driver to help you ok?

and pls drive on the left side of the road at all time....

and do not stop at genting or camaron highlands for las vegas experiences....

the border checkpoints closed around 22:00 at darnn-nork, chungloon or sar-dow, thailand time....

malaysian time is 1 hr ahead of thailand--you need to speed to the thai border by 23:00 malaysian time..... ok?

and the exchange rate is about 10 baht to 1 malaysian ring-get.... which physically looks like play money to us.

different denominations come in different sizes and colors as well.... lol

good luck and bon voyage....
