Just went to lao for visa run.

Flew to Udon Thani the got bus to Friendship bridge.

Then bus over bridge got visa on the Lao border.

Straight to Thai Embassy there by 10:30am.

Got visa next day they gave me double entry on Australia passport free of charge.

So easy there got visa back at 1pm the next day.

Flew Udon Thani from Suvarnabhumi at 07:00am air asia 3300 baht return

Flight home at 17:40 so plenty time to get back from Lao.

From Udon Thani airport got bus to boarder 200 baht same coming back

15 baht over friendship bridge

30 dollars Lao visa or 1300 baht

200 baht to Thai Embassy

Stayed hotel not far from embassy 500 baht with air cond and tv own shower 5 minute walk to embassy.

So easy to go there fro visa run good luck to anyone going there
