October 17, 200916 yr When I mentioned before how inconveniently planned this new convenience is, someone said something like "Well I guess they should put a connection on every corner, huh? That would be great, right?" I thought it was kind of obvious, but, as other people have spelled out, if you're going to build a massive civil service project designed to facilitate commuting from point to point across the city then unless it connects with other mass transit mechanisms efficiently then it's less convenient then it could be. And if you're spending all that money to build something to make it convenient, why would you screw up the connections by a kilometer or two? The dam_n thing should connect on day one like it does in Singapore and anywhere else with any sense. People coming from, or going to an airport in many cases necessarily have large bags to haul around and don't necessarily want to arrive at the airport covered in sweaty clothes for their 14 hour flight.
October 17, 200916 yr Does anyone imagine they'll use this link ??I can't see myself or anyone else I know using it, especially not with baggage. Ditto!!
October 20, 200916 yr If bags get stolen and riffled through at the airport, do you think it will be even worse when you drop them off at a checkpoint?
