I know that Bangkok Phuket Hospital offers LASIK, cosmetic surgery, dentistry, and skin care. Has anyone had any experience with these? My girlfriend is from Bangkok but she is living with me in Phuket now and is interested. She knows good places in Bangkok but I have heard that Bangkok Phuket Hospital is as good as the Bangkok hospitals.

Any experiences?

Hi, I had Lasik surgery done at Bangkok Phuket Hospital in February and am quite pleased with the results-simpy amazing. The TRSC Lasik Center there is one of the best regarded centers in Thailand. The surgeons fly down from the Bangkok center and are quite experienced. The real question is why are you doing the surgery-I did it for sports(swimming, surfing etc.), otherwise probably wouldn't have bothered, but up to you. Also have used BPH for dental services and found them very good as well. You can find cheaper in Phuket, but I am not sure you will find better...good luck!

I know someone who had Lazik there.. At first wonderful but last time I saw him (as is common for lazik) his eyes had reverted back a long way.. Not as bad as origionally but still no longer great..

I may well want Lazik in later life but intend to wait as long as I can... Especially as multiple lazik operations over time rapidly increases the chance of sides such as flares / distortions / night sparkles / etc..
