MangoJersey is running an informal road training camp in Chaing Mai from 8th to 18th April 2005. The camp is intended as final preparation for the EGAT tour starting 1 May 2005. We will provide transportation, driver and mechanic as well as essential spares and will charge THB 200 per day for each rider to cover these costs.

Free coaching will be provided to all by Australian State Pursuit Champion and Olympic Coach John Hardaker who is visiting Thailand again.

We will cater for riders of mixed ability, and depending on the number of people riding, may split into two or more groups.

Most of the rides will be long and easy, but for elite riders we will also have some speedwork sessions and there will be a time-trial. We also plan a two-day supported ride from Chaing Mai to Chiang Rai.

There is no obligation on this camp, we will be happy to see as many people as possbile turn up and ride, although it would be beneficial if we had an idea of who is interested so that we can make some plans.

The best way to express your interest is to send a quick email to me, David at [email protected] stating which days you may be riding and the names of the riders.

We will be able to recommend hotels to stay in in Chiang Mai, prices ranging from THB 300 to THB 1,500

Cheers and hope to see some of you there
