Grease the wheels if you want but should not be needed.

The house book is mandatory or they won't talk to you.

For temporary construction power almost anyone can get that installed.

He has no wife, house is in a company name (bought early 2006 when this form of buying was pretty usual)

For a permanent meter:

Tabien Baan is needed. If there is a resident, copy of residents card is needed. If no resident in tabien baan, your passport and certificate of residence.

They will come and check your installation before allowing you to pay. This may take some time and can be speeded up with tea money.

Price depends on province, but basicly single phase is

5/15 amp is 700 baht

15/45 amp is like 7k baht

30/100 amp is like 13k

For a temp meter with almost double electrisity price, just location and a deposit is needed
