Golf Fees In Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hello,

Me and My husband are due to visit Chiang Mai in November for 4 months. We are both very keen golfers and usually play 3 or 4 times per week. Unfortunately Thailand is not cheap for golf green fees and we could do with some help regarding the best way of trying to get deals or special offers on green fees or 6 months memberships.

I see that at every golf club there is different fees depending if you are a Resident or not. I have also been informed that if we get a Thai Driving License we will get "local" rates for golf. Does anybody know what proof you have to show to the golf club to show them you are a resident? Would a Thai driving license be adequate? If this is the case then we would potentially save a small fortune over the 4 month period.!!

Also is anyone aware of any golf club offering 6 month memberships ? Really appreciate any info

Many thanks in advance :)

But you won't actually be resident - will you?

Chiang Mai Highlands are currently offering a 6 month membership. It is 26,000 Baht (I think).
