Regards applying for an extension of stay based on marriage to Thai wife, in the past I have always simply photocopied the entire passport. However, having read the immigration site and the TV page about extensions, it's saying this - Copy of passport ( with certified true copy ).

Just make copy and sign it. You are certifying the information being provided is correct. That is all that is needed.

Surely not - I mean a passport is the best form of ID. How does one verify true copy???

Thanks chaps. Had a bit of a panic attack there.

The only time I have had to have a actual Certified True Copy is when applying for a passport for the boy and it was stamped as such and signed by British Consulate here. Think I also had it done when married.
