My (new) Favorite Thai Word(s)

Featured Replies

My (new) favorite Thai words du jour . . . are three euphemisms for flat-chested women. I know, hard to believe, but some Thai women are not well-endowed. Hence, the popularity of the following:

อกไข่ดาว òk·khài·daao lit. "chest [of] fried eggs"

จอแบน jaw•baen lit. "flat-screen" as in flat screen TV

and my favorite for the image it conjures . . .

ลูกเกด lûuk·gèht lit. "raisins" as in "raisins on a white board"

Until the next installment of M(N)FTWDJ,

NG :)

very funny. Fried eggs is one i knew from school but i never heard the other 2 used in english.

Next time I feel I need a black eye, I'll try those out.....:)
