24 Hours Transit In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi

I am flying from HK to Jordan on Royal jordanian airlines via Bangkok. And I have around 24hours stop in Bangkok. Am i going to be able to get a visa (transit or other type) in Bangkok airport to allow me to stay for 24 hours? I hold a Jordanian passport

My travel agent said it's ok, but i'm not sure about it and i'm very worried that I will have to spend the whole time in the airport!

Am i eligible for a transit visa in the airport? what are the requirement?

Thanks everyone

The IATA database indicates you can stay 12 hours in transit lounge in Bangkok. As Jordanian nationals do not qualify for visa exempt entry or visa on arrival, you would need to obtain a tourist visa from embassy/consulate before you travel. They are currently free.

are you able to get a different connection point via Royal Jordanian Airlines rather than Bangkok?

How about Singapore? Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)?

In last resort, there is a mini hotel (sleep & shower) facility in the departure terminal that you may want to

keep in mind if you become tired.

I will keep it in mind thanks rfukata... i need to check again with the airlines regarding the stay as it exceeds 12hours

Of course i had other options for the connection but this was the lowest fare...
