MZurf
Outside the windows of my house I have installed security grating (for lack of a better word). The problem is that the birds are using this as their personal crappers and on every window sill there is constantly a layer of cr*p. Is there any way to prevent them from doing this? I have been dreaming of putting some current into the grating and electrocuting the little sh%t machines but it seems a bit drastic
lopburi3
Rubber snakes hanging in the wind (from eves) seems to keep most birds away. Also most people if they don't look close. Edited October 26, 2009 by lopburi3

Have tried hanging a rubber snake in the grating but it does not appear to scare the birds. Have had a couple of good reactions from people though
