Rasa Tower For 90 Day Reporting

Featured Replies

Lots of posts over the months about doing your 90 day reporting...and I'm up for my first time later this week.

The Rasa Tower II location...still available since the new complex opened in Chaeng Wattana?

Any suggestions when I go? Can I get there easily by getting off at the subway at Central shopping center?

Still open for 90 day reporting for Bangkok residents, but moving 4th Jan to Chamchuri Square, 18th Floor, 319 Payathai Rd, Pathumwan.

Reported:

Take the subway to Phahonyothin, then walk up Phahonyothin Road. Rasa Tower and it is just before Soi 19. Rasa 1 and 2 have a common entrance. You go into the entrance, and walk to the back, past the Rasa 1 lifts, to get to the lifts for Rasa 2, then go up to the 16th floor.

Does that mean that residents of another province would have to report to immigration in their province even though BKK would be closer?

You have to report to the immigration office for the area you live in.

You can only do the 90 address report at the One-Stop Center in Rasa Tower if you got your extension there.

TH

You can do 90 day reporting at Rasa Tower if you live in Bangkok - you do not need to have received your extension of stay there.

Does anyone know the address of the immigration office in Pathum Thani?

Have not seen anything reported yet in the forum.

I believe it is an exact GPS location but could be wrong as just too many changes to keep track of in the old gray matter.

Thanks for the map, much appreciated!

Make sure you exit Phaholyothin underground station at exit 3 (signposted Hor Wang School). This will keep you on the Rasa Tower side of Phaholyothin Rd.

I think you just need your passport and TM47 form. No photocopies. Is this correct, anyone?

Yes, for the Pathum Thani office the marker is at the coordinates provided by a member. It is not on a building itself but on the road and the immigration office has to be in one of the three buildings in that area.

Thanks for the detailed info. I went today and it was a cinch. In regard to the photocopies, I handed all that to them and they just handed it back without looking at it. All they dealt with was the passport/visa and TM47. From the minute I walked into the office till walking out was all of 6 minutes or less. And, BTW, it was my first visit, so whoever thought the original work had to be done there in order to be able to go back for 90 day reporting, apparently that is not correct.

Good. So now we know that if you do your 90 days reporting in Bangkok in person, all you need is your passport & TM47. But if you do it in Bangkok by post, you will need

1.Copy of all passport pages (up to the latest arrival stamp or latest visa stamp)

2.Copy of arrival/departure card TM. 6 (front and back)

3.Previous notifications of staying over 90 days

4.Form TM 47

5.Envelope with B10 stamp affixed and return address

6.The above mentioned documents must be sent by registered mail

  • 3 weeks later...

Does anyone know if you can send a friend to this or you must show up in person?

You can send a friend/messenger. Apparently a cover note explaining this may be needed. Anyone?

I believe you have to sign a power of attorney to the person doing the reporting for you. At least that is what we do.

TH

Is it possible to obtain a re-entry permit at the Rasa building right now?

Thank you

Only if you qualify for doing your extension there.

And don't forget everyone, the 90 day reporting office will soon move from Rasa Tower to Chamchuri Square building on the 18th floor (near Sam Yan underground station). January I think.

4th Jan 2010. See thread here
