A Bangkok university student and her friend have alleged that her new Honda Jazz, (silver-black) car was stolen from the third floor of South Pattaya’s “Tuk Com” car park. They further stated that they were forced into the car by 2-armed men, and later released close to Siam Country Club Road. Police believe there is something unusual about this case and are investigating further.

Sunday 24th October 2009 [PDN]: - At 11.30 pm, on Saturday 24th October, Miss Patcharee Nahmracha, [21], who resides at 96 Moo-12, Pounpu, Nonghin, in the Leoi Province, was accompanied by her friend, and reported a car theft to Police Ltn. Col. Anun Thamachaikul, Pattaya police investigator. Her new car was stolen at the Computer City (“Tuk-Com”) building car park in South Pattaya.

Miss Patcharee Nahmracha is known to be a university student in Bangkok, and initially when the police questioned her, she stated that both her and her friend had taken her computer to be repaired at Computer City and parked her new car; (Honda Jazz, silver-black, Reg. No.1838, Bangkok), on the third floor of the car park.

When she and her friend came back to the car and opened the car door, two men approached them. One man was tall and quite thin, while the other was fat with full of tattoos on his arms and neck. They both pulled out guns and pointed them at the two women, and then they grabbed her car keys and her mobile phone. They demanded her and her friend to get into the back seat of the car. One man was driving and the other kept pointing his gun to the two victims.

Miss Patcharee continued saying that the robbers took them to Soi Siam Country Club and on the way, one of the robbers used her phone to call someone by the name of “Jeh.” This name literally means an older woman or normally, the word is also used for a female boss. The man then took the sim-card out of the phone and gave it back to her. When they were near the well known “Sit Yod Thong” boxing training center, the robbers dropped both her and her friend along a dark lane.

The police examined the Computer City car park and the Soi Siam Country Club area, but found no further evidence. However, the police believe that the story has some suspicious points, so they will expand their investigations, with the aim of finding the thieves and bringing them to justice soon.
