It is on my profile page.

I can only see you personal photo.

I updated my avatar pic last week, and I see the new pic on my avatar control page.

I deleted my old pic as well.

However, the old, removed pic (of George C) is still what comes up on my posts.

???

Have you cleared your cache and reloaded the page with <ctrl> F5?

I assume you are in Thailand?

Your Avatar shoes a planet. Is it a planet...? I am no expert

Hi Folks,

Heads up :D

Changed mine last Sunday and it took 2 days to show up on Tuesday this week.

Changed me profile photo in a flash on that day after posting it, the same Sunday, Btw :) .

Please have a look............ Never did that to me in all my years on ThaiVisa. :D

As one says, better late than never :D

Yours truly,

Kan Win

P.S. Used all me tools i.e. CCleaner 2.22.968 and Advanced System Care V3. :D

Jupiter. I hope.

I kept getting an old avatar showing up when i tried to change. Yesterday I uploaded my avatar to my fotki.com site and then updated it from there. It worked first time.

Yes, the planet is the new one. But when I see my postings I still see the old avatar, of a guy pointing at YOU, which is supposed to have been deleted. I did the ctrl-F5 and it's still there.

What pic do you see with my posts?

i see a planet

man, this is weird!

I get OLDIE

this is what my page looks like (when I click my avatar)

DNS servers:

208.67.222.222

208.67.220.220

thanks for the effort

I should tell you that my id pic is the same image (but a different file and different size) as my avatar. I never understood which was which or why there were two pics, but now I know what avatar means to TV. When I erase the old avatar it will come up blank in my posts. When I added the new avatar, the old one (which I thought had been erased) reappeared.

go to:

c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\

look for hosts.

Copy the host file to a save location in case something goes wrong.

Open the hosts file with notepad. You will see something simmilar like

this example:

# For example:

#

# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server

# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

202.170.126.89 static.thaivisa.com

Ad the bold/colored line and save the file.

Click on save. In case it is saved with a .txt extension - rename the file

to hosts. Thats it.

No you should get HOPE and able to view your Avatar

yes, now I see Jupiter! And I didn't have to edit the HOSTS file

Thanks much.

I don't think I'll be changing my avatar again!
