I would be very interested to hear from anyone that has used either programme. At the moment I am thinking of purchasing the podcast programme because it is geared to being used on an ipod, which I can use on my 40 minute journey to and from work everyday.

Please let me know what your experiences are.

Thanks

I don't have a lot of info but I know how frustrating it is to start a thread and not get much of a reply.

First of all, what is your prior experience? What are you hoping to learn?

I briefly joined the podcast site several months ago but I used their 30 day money back guarantee after only a few hours. The material was too basic for me and I found the site difficult to navigate.

In my correspondence with the site owners they seemed very interested in my suggestions and said they would be adding an intermediate section in the near future. About a month after I canceled they gave me a free month to try their new material but unfortunately I was busy dealing with some family problems at the time and barely looked at it. I haven't checked it since.

From what I saw it would be valuable to a beginner and they seemed very eager to make improvements. It might be much better now than the version I saw. The customer service was very good...maybe send them an email if you have any questions or concerns.

I am probably at around a beginner intermediate stage, everyday practical stuff I am ok at but I am not yet able to have anything more than a very basic conversation.

From what I have looked at the high speed Thai looks better but I also think the podcast thai could be useful.

High Speed Thai is designed around Anki, which can apparently be used on an iPhone/iPod touch and Palm. Check out iAnki and Anki for Palm.

I have HST, but as it is the previous version I am reluctant to give details as they might be outdated already. I have not attempted to add it to my iPhone, so I am no help there either. I do not know if it will run on an iPod (sans touch).
